About Melena
I’m a brand and marketing strategist working with businesses at key stages of growth, from inception through realignment and redevelopment.
My work focuses on bringing clarity, direction, and structure to brands through considered strategy, communication, and creative oversight. I’m drawn to moments where something needs to be defined, refined, or rethought, and where clear thinking makes a meaningful difference.
With over 20 years’ experience across marketing and communications, I’ve worked across industries including fashion, beauty, homewares, tech, finance, and creative services. Today, I work on a selective, project-based basis, partnering with businesses when strategic clarity is needed.
Outside of Boost Studio & Co., I’ve recently launched my e-commerce jewellery brand, Skye and Rocket, and New Day Vibes, a space for reflection and my work as a breathwork facilitator.
Boost Studio & Co. was founded by Melena Birtles in 2024 and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
