About Melena
I’m a brand strategist working with businesses at key stages of growth, from inception through realignment and redevelopment.
My work centres on bringing clarity, direction, and structure to brands through considered strategy, communication, and creative oversight. I work best at moments where something needs to be defined, refined, or rethought, and where clear, well-judged thinking makes a meaningful difference to what comes next.
With over 20 years’ experience in brand, marketing, and communications, I’ve worked with businesses in fashion, beauty, homewares, tech, finance, and creative services. Today, I partner with businesses when strategic clarity, alignment, and direction are needed most.
Outside of Boost Studio & Co., I’m the founder of Skye and Rocket, an e-commerce jewellery brand, and New Day Vibes, a space for reflection and my work as a breathwork facilitator. Each is a different expression, grounded in the same principles of considered thinking, creative expression, and presence.
Boost Studio & Co. was founded by Melena Birtles in 2024 and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
